Prism Global Marketing Solutions is proud to be a sponsor of an upcoming crowdfunding event in Phoenix. This event is incredibly unique and exciting because it will bring together the local Arizona marketing, technology, legal and entrepreneurship communities. The Arizona Technology Council's Law and Technology Committee and Startup + Entrepreneurship Committee have joined forces with the American Marketing Association - Phoenix Chapter to host three unique crowdfunding presentations followed by a showing of one of the most successful crowdfunding campaigns to date, the Veronica Mars movie.
Along the way to what would end up becoming the third most successful Kickstarter campaign of all time at $5.7 million—behind the Pebble watch and the Ouya gaming platform—the Veronica Mars movie achieved several milestones. This included being the fastest project to reach both $1 million and $2 million, the highest-funded project in the film category, and the project to collect the most Kickstarter backers, according to the campaign page.
So you may be thinking, what is the connection to Prism? We are actively involved in the startup community in Phoenix, and always want to help where we can whether it is through mentoring opportunities, sponsorship opportunities, and raising interest for the unique startup companies that are located in Phoenix and the surrounding areas. In addition, as you might have seen in our previous post, Prism Global Marketing Solutions, is both a member of the Arizona Technology Council, as well as one of twelve companies to be included in their 2014 Business Essentials Program. We invite you to learn more about this unique program for Arizona Technology Council members. In addition, Prism's founder, Elyse Meyer, is on the board for the American Marketing Association - Phoenix Chapter. We think this will be a wonderful event bringing together so many different business communities in the Phoenix area!
