Top HubSpot Marketing, Sales & Service Product Updates from #INBOUND19

Posted by Elyse Flynn Meyer | 3 Minutes to Read

HubSpot's annual conference, INBOUND, wrapped up last week in Boston where tens of thousands of business professionals from around the world gathered to learn how to grow their business using the inbound methodology and a customer-centric framework. As with each year at INBOUND, there are many new product enhancements that were launched that we're excited to share with you!

Here is a recap of our favorite product announcements and improved features from #INBOUND19:

  • Social Post Boosting:

Social media is a critical part of every marketing plan, but how are you currently using boosted social posts to get in front of even more prospects to expand your reach? HubSpot has now added Facebook social post boosting to your social tools. Now you can seamlessly take a post that is already performing well organically, add some paid ad spending behind it, and see how your reach grows! This is in beta for HubSpot Marketing Professional and Enterprise users.

  • Native Lead Ad Creation:

Facebook Lead AdsFacebook and LinkedIn lead ads can be incredibly powerful for your business. They enable people to convert on your forms directly within the Facebook or LinkedIn platform with pre-populated fields from their accounts. This removes the barrier to conversion; and is a great lead generation tool for marketers. Now you can create Facebook lead ads directly within the HubSpot platform, and trigger a series of emails and automation through HubSpot workflows. This is currently available for Facebook for all HubSpot users. LinkedIn will be released to HubSpot  users at a later date. We will keep you posted.

  • Facebook Messenger Integration:

As a consumer, you expect to be able to connect with a business wherever you are in the buying process. That means if your buyers are on Facebook, they expect to connect with your company and learn more about your business within Facebook, including via Facebook Messenger. You can now integrate your Facebook Messenger conversations into your Conversations inbox in HubSpot so you can integrate that lead to HubSpot, and start the automation journey for them. This is now in beta.

  • Business Card Scanner on Mobile:

Have you ever been to an event or trade show and wonder how you can possibly get all of those contacts into HubSpot quickly? Gone are the days of creating time-consuming excel files of leads. Now you can scan business cards directly from your Android or iOS HubSpot app and turn those offline leads into digital contacts with just one click. This is available to all HubSpot users.

  • Buy Now Button for eCommerce:

Coming soon in HubSpot Sales Pro and Enterprise, you'll be able to create "Buy Now" buttons to include on your website and in your emails. This provides your buyers with a one-click experience to purchase your products or services. This will provide a frictionless purchase process to improve the customer experience. This is coming soon.

  • Landing Pages & Follow-Up Emails in Marketing Starter:

HubSpot's Marketing Starter package is getting some new upgrades! Coming soon you will be able to create landing pages in a seamless drag and drop editor. In addition, you will be able to send a series of three automated emails to help you engage and nurture your new leads. This is coming soon.

  • Advocacy Automation

  • Advocacy Automation and Feedback Reporting:

The customer experience is one of the most important parts of every business. You want to make your customers happy, because happy customers will continue to grow your business. In HubSpot's Service Hub, in addition to getting insight on your customer experience, you can now automate customer advocacy. This means that you can use this new automation to power and scale your testimonial or case study program. This is now available for HubSpot Service Professional and Enterprise users.

  • Knowledge Base Editor and Content Access:

HubSpot's Knowledge Base in the Service Hub is an excellent way to provide your customers and prospects with a self-knowledge article hub to find information that is most meaningful and helpful to them about your product. Now live for all Service Hub users is a new interface that allows for enhanced customization with your templates. And even more importantly, you can now restrict access to certain contacts based on your HubSpot lists. For example, if you have a series of articles that are just relevant to your customers, you can ensure it's only displayed to your customers. This is now live.

  • Contact and Company Deduplication:

Having duplicate contacts in your CRM can cause a series of issues, but it happens more often than you think. If someone converts on a form with their business email address, and then converts on another form with their personal email address, that would create two separate contact records. Now, with machine learning from HubSpot, you can find duplicate contacts and companies and quickly merge that data into one record. Now you can spend less time manually updating your data and more time connecting with your customers. This is now live and available to all Professional and Enterprise HubSpot users.

  • Folders in Workflows:

If you're an existing HubSpot user, you know this update is a long time coming. You can now organize your workflows into folders. This may seem like a small update, but for HubSpot portals with hundreds of workflows, this now provides a level of organization that was previously not possible. Folders is now in beta for all Marketing Hub, Sales Hub, and Service Hub Professional and Enterprise users.

As you can see, HubSpot has made some substantial product enhancements and new product announcements this year at INBOUND. In our opinion, HubSpot continues to build and continually deliver a truly comprehensive, all-in-one platform for marketing, sales and the overall customer experience.
