Businessman hand using mobile phone with digital layer effect as business strategy conceptFrom the time you wake up, to the time your head hits the pillow, there are a number of things we wish would have been easier. Mobile applications continue to revolutionize how we manage our time, and are finding more ways to make life a little more simple when you are on the go.

Here are 5 mobile apps to help increase your productivity, and stay on top of your business objectives throughout the day.

  1. Sleep Cycle Alarm Clock: Make that 5:30AM wake up call a little less painful by calculating the stages of your sleep cycle.  The new mobile app alarm clock wakes you up when you’re in the lightest stage of your sleep cycle. It allows you to set a 30-minute window of when you want to wake up, and then monitors your movement so that your alarm goes off in accordance with your sleep cycle.  It will feel as if you’ve slept in for hours, and you’re now ready to take on the day.

  2. Venmo:  You just bought your co-worker breakfast because they forgot their wallet at home, and you’re not looking forward to waiting a week for them to re-pay you. Venmo, a new mobile application, is here to save the day! This mobile money application allows you to hook your phone up to your bank account, and directly transfer money to another person (as long as they have the app too). Whether you decide to split a check or need to pay someone for bills, Venmo allows for that instant payback.

  3. HubSpot: Stay connected with your marketing world 24/7 with HubSpot's integrated and powerful mobile apps for iPhone and Android. Never again be away from your most important marketing data.  View your most important data on your marketing efforts. Get notified of new leads and follow up instantly.  Receive detailed reports on your marketing and track your competitors.  Download HubSpot's mobile app.  Haven't tried HubSpo?  Get a free 30-day HubSpot trial.

  4. Dropbox: How many times have you misplaced something on your computer, or better yet, wished you had one place to store it all?  The Dropbox mobile application allows just that, enabling you to download any files, photos, email, etc. on your phone and into specific ‘boxes’. Now sending that email will be a lot easier knowing all of your attachments are in one place.

  5. Uber: While on a business trip, you want to impress a client when picking them up from the airport, but you don’t just want to arrange a cab. "Uber it." It’s faster, cheaper, and more efficient than any other ‘cab’ company. This mobile application connects your bank account information with a username and completes the entire payment via phone when the ride has ended. Even better? All you have to do is open the application, say where you are (GPS will know). Then choose the ride you want, and before you know it, Uber will be at your assistance. By the way, Uber is known for their high-end cars, so chances are you’ll be riding in style.

We hope this article was helpful to help you boost your productivity.  We would love to hear your thoughts on these apps, or any others that help to improve your day.
